Launching from our own beachfront location in Tofino, we kayak to Vargas Island via Meares Island. This trip provides an invigorating combination of paddling, old-growth forest hiking, beachcombing, feasting and relaxing, while learning about the cultural and natural history of the area. No prior experience necessary.
Prices include all kayaking gear, accommodations during the tour, and fabulous food. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Tours begin with introductory lessons.

Stay in the comfort of Vargas Inn, the site of a small mill operation owned by the Buckle family, descendants of early settlers to the area. It is right on the water's edge, overlooking a scenic bay.
